Merry Christmas to you all

Hi All

Just want to wish all my family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will be visiting all my family over the festive period and am looking forward to lots of presents, lots of food (mainly chocolate), but mainly lots of fun, hugs and kisses. I am very excited about seeing my Uncle Andy and Auntie Sam in January 2007 as well.

So once again, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas
Lots of love and festive wishes

Here I am again...

Hi All. My Mum apologises for being so useless with her updating my blog. The digital camera broke and then the rest has just been laziness! Actually to be fair to her she has been very at busy at work and then of course she has to look after me (so she is forgiven)! I have been busy myself, learning lots of new words, getting into pink and sparkly stuff (much to my folks dismay), having fun at Nursery, hanging out with my friends and getting excited about the up and coming festive season.

Mum reckons i have been naughty and nice this year, but the nice outweighs the naughty...so roll on the christmas presents for me? I am going to see all my family this Christmas, so trips to Breaston, Nottingham and Dorset (luckily the new car will make sure i travel in style and comfort). I am however very excited about the fact that i get to see my Uncle Andy and Auntie Pam (can't pronouce Sam yet) in less than two months....the following photos are to show them how much i have grown and that the Hello Kitty top they sent me from Japan in Jan 06 now fits. Looking forward to seeing all my friends and family over the next few months. Lots of love xxx

More pictures of my holiday

Summer of 2006

Hello all. Well i have been an extremely busy young lady this summer. MY parents went to Italy and got engaged whereas i stayed with my Nana Coleen and Grandpa Rod and had lots of fun. Then we all went off to Norfolk for a week and then I went to Dorset and saw Granny Hilary, Grandpa Ken and Great Grandpa John. I have also been to the Zoo with Grandpa John and Granny Annie and over the course of the summer have seen donkeys, seals, lions, elephants, giraffes, gorillas and monkeys and many more creatures. I have a wide vocabulary now, my favourite words being "tractor" and "baby". I have nearly 14 teeth, i can run quite fast, fall over a lot, bang my head, and have the most amazing tantrums when necessary!

Mummy and Daddy are going to get married next year on Saturday 11th August 2007. I will be the main bridesmaid obviously, but will be joined by my two favourite cousins Essie and Belle and Mummy's best pal Beth. I am already looking forward to it and am very happy that they are making it legit...took Mummy 6 years to get her way, so well done!

Hope you like the pictures of my super summer of 2006 (next year i am gonna gatecrash the honeymoon)!!

Busy, busy, busy...

Well i have been very busy of late. My mummy and Daddy decided that i needed a safe garden to play in, so with huge thanks to the Bank of Masters and then Gradwell/Armitage i am now the proud owner of lovely flat green garden with a nice little trellis fence and gate to keep me safe and sound....only thing is i can't use it till the lawn is bedded in, so roll on 10th Aug when they can install my sandpit and paddling pool! I have also been busy learnign to talk and have so far mastered saying, "no", "yes" "dog, dog" and "duck". Mummy keeps laughing at me as i keep mixing up "no" with "yes"......so she offers me ice cream and i say"no".......hilarious!

My folks are off to Italy this week, without me...charming! I, however will be spending a wonderful week with Nana and Grandpa in Nottingham, being spoilt rotten, hanging out with my cousins and going for an exciting day trip with Grandpa John and Grannie Annie. The folks keep going on about having lie in's, lying on the beach, eating fabulous food and relaxing...but they are sooooooooo gonna miss me!! They better buy me a great pressie that's all i can say.

So hope you like the photo's...i now have 10 teeth and love ice cream...just like my Daddy.
Lots of love to all my family everywhere xxx

At the kitchen sink....

Here are the pictures which i talked about in the blog below....

A few days in Dorset

I went with my Mummy to visit my Grandma Hilary and Grandpa Ken in Dorset the other week. Daddy stayed at home as he was very tired from working so hard and needed a rest...good thing he did because the journey there took us nearly 8 hours. We were stuck on the M5 for hours, but luckily I was asleep and when I woke up Mummy sang me 50 nursery songs from my CD which cheered me up! It was a relief to get out of my car seat and say hello to Grandma and Grandpa, and of course Oscar.

He and I are great mates now as I can walk round the garden with him, pull his tail, stroke his fur and he gives me big slobbery kisses. I had a lovely time in Dorset. I went on a seesaw with Mummy and Grandma, tried to kiss a 2 and a half year old boy in the park (he pushed me over), played with the bolts of the toy tunnel and of course spent ages on the swings....Brilliant!

I also went to see Great Grandpa John who is growing a beard, so his whiskers tickled me and I walked round his beautiful garden. I also went to the beach in Bridport and got shingle in my hair, my shoes and my nappy and made Grandma get a wet foot as she dragged me back from the waves. It was great and I had lots of fun. Grandpa took lots of picture of me walking round the garden and generally being gorgeous (even if I do so say so myself)!

As you will see, I have also got into cooking. I now have a cooker and a combi sink, dishwasher and fridge. I make several meals of delightful plastic fishfingers, peas and even fennel (very middle class plastic shopping trolley don't ya know)? I have great fun with this and think I shall become a chef when I grow up.

Well I am off now as need to get my beauty sleep before tomorrow. It is my first World Cup and I am going to watch it with my God daddy Rob and Jeanine, enjoy the sunshine, have a BBQ and watch England beat Paraguay 2:0.....c'mon England!!

A few more of me....

Mummy thought just a few more of me might make you all smile.....

A spring in my step

Well it is May now, lovely and spring like with almost a hint of summer. Bu the greatest news is that.....i am now walking! Oh yes, for two weeks now i have been walking around the house (looked more like wobbling at the start), making great strides and falling onto my bottom a great deal. I love to walk, it makes me smile and i always look quite pleased with myself.

My Nana Coleen was instrumental in this development as Mummy and Daddy asked her to have words with me when they left me their for the weekend. Mummy muttered something about me being too heavy to carry all the time and that her back hurt....so Nana had stern words and i thought it was in my best interest to get up and walk..so i did!

I wear a size 5G and am now the proud owner of a lovely pair of white Clarks sandals (they look great with red socks?), a pair of jelly shoes and some groovy blue plimsols with multicoloured laces.....Daddy keep telling Mummy to stop passing on her shoe fetish to me, but i'm not complaining...all my baby mates are well jealous at babygroup!

I also now have another tooth (bottom right) and another on the way (bottom left) which will make a total of nearly 8. I have been waking up at 5.30 am every morning for the last few weeks as well, which the old folks don't seem too impressed with, but what can you do...i hear the birds twittering and see the sun shining under my (supposedly black out) blinds, and i am ready to start the day.

I love going to nursery and am always bringing home a new painting or picture . I enjoy playing with musical instruments, especially maracca's and the other day i dressed up as a police woman (Mummy and Daddy laughed for ages about this when they got my daily report?). I am also really into The Fimbles and still love reading a good book..as you will see.

So thats me for now. I am looking forward to getting my new sandpit soon, so more pictures to come when that happens. Love to all my family...wherever you are xxx

Easter treats

On Easter sunday my Uncle Mark, Auntie Jo and cousins Essie and Belle came over for the day. We all had to hunt the easter eggs hidden in the house. I got 3 bags of chocolate buttons, 1 small egg and a huge chocolate bunny called Max. I have already devoured the buttons and the egg but haven't seen Max at all......mum and dad mysteriously have been keeping quiet about the whole episode...

Lots more fun...

I also got to play on the swings and tunnels at Beaminster playground which was great fun. I am a big fan of swings and was sadly let down at the Peter Pan Playground in Brighton as they had loads of cool climbing frames etc, but no swings...i was very gutted! Still off i went to Donatello's the famous cheapie Italian in the Lanes and had another massive serving of my old fave...spag bol...yum!

It was very wierd being in Brighton and not staying with my uncle and aunt, and poor mum and dad had to cough up and pay for a hotel. It was on the new steine, called the fivehotel and the owners Caroline and Simon were very friendly. We all had a nice time, but i think i prefer being in Brighton when my favourite two people are there, and not travelling round the globe...we miss Uncle Andy and Auntie Sam loads..check them out on www.andyandsam.blogspot.com!

When we came back to Sheffield the folks took me to Chatsworth which is a grand stately home. It has a beautiful river running through it, lovely acres to walk round, a petting zoo and the biggest ice creams you've ever seen...Mummy shared her's with me! I got to say hello to lots of dogs, saw a big swan and also a mummy sheep and her lambs...dogs are my favourite thing at the moment. although i did love pointing at the massive sea gulls in Brighton.

My Easter holidays

I went with my Mum and Dad to visit my Grandparents in Dorset. I had a lovely time and played a lot with Oscar the dog...I think i made as much noise as he did. I also had lots of fun with my new friends Tommy Tiger and Kevin the Koala. Grandma Hilary made me lots of yummy food, my favourite being Spaghetti Bolognaise and Grandpa Ken showed me how to play pop the weasal. It was especially great to spend some time with my Great Grandpa John. I think i squashed him when i sat on his knee. We all went to his local village pub for some lunch and i was very well behaved! I showed him my six lovely teeth (still no more as yet, only 14 to go) and my attempts at walking solo, which i am getting better at everyday.
